Dress Secret!
I didn't want to share with anyone until I was sure that it was legitimate. But since I got my dress and I'm in love, I will now share my secret!
I never actually got to see my dress in person or try it on prior to purchasing it. I found the dress online. It was a demetrios dress but it was a discontinued model. I went to the macys at the Smith Haven mall and tried on a similar dress in a strapless version and knew that if it was the halter (discontinued) version that I saw online it would be perfect. I spoke with the sales woman and she found one in another warehouse that she said she could have shipped to the mall for $170 and I could try it on. If I wanted to buy it after that then she would deduct the shipping cost from the price of the dress.
I'm on a really tight budget and I didn't want to spend the money on shipping a dress that I didn't know I was absolutely going to buy and then also have to lay out an additional $2,000.
So I did some research and I found a company that replicated designer dresses. I had my dress custom replicated from a company in China.
So my $2200 Demetrios Dress from Macy's ended up costing me $217.00.
They made the dress custom to my measurments and any additional beadwork I wanted done to the dress they did at no additional charges. They also Made me a belaro jacket, a veil, a necklace, earings and gloves that all match the beadwork on the dress. They even sent me additional fabric incase I want/need to do any alterations.
Custom made and shipped, no additional alteraltions needed for $217.48!
