Whre are you ladies shopping for your dresses in Long Island? I have hit RK Bridal (NY), Klienflelds (Brooklyn) and David's Bridal (Carle Place). Any suggestions or comments on the places I have already checked out?

Macys Manhasset? Very nice store. I've heard all good things about Valentinas (NYLISA!) and um...Kleinfelds is expensive...I went to Davids in NJ and it was a pleasure. I got my girls' dresses there.

i second bridal reflections (Carle Place). Found dresses for BM there, and they were cheaper there than at Macy's Manhasset (which was also nice - with a big selection).

Good for you. When you go try to either work with Danielle or Doris (Withthisring) is working with her. If your gown is over $1000, you get free alternations, slip, headpiece and veil. On the BM dresses, they get 10% discount off the ticket price and free alternations. If they take their dresses someplace else to get alterated, then they get a 20% discount off the ticket price. If you have any questions, just ask.

I got my dress from Valentina's as well. LOVE LOVE LOVE them in there. I am going back in January to get remeasured for my gown

Bridal Reflections in Massapequa was great for me. If you go ask for Gloria....she is very good.

I ordered my dress from RK BRIDAL.,my mothers dress, bridesmaids and flowergirls. All are from RK. I find them to be very nice, sales people are great and prices are not that bad either. Unfortunately alterations are pricey. But other than that they are not too bad. My friend ordered her bridal dress from there and we got our bridesmaids dresses from there.. None of us ever had a problem.. But it is great because it is close for me as i live in Manhattan.
On their website, they only have some of their dresses that they design but they carry all most of all the designers. My gown was not designed by Valentina's but by Victoria's Collection.

So far Lillettes in Baldwin (Gerri) have been great!! I just ordered my dress, but before I ordered it I must have gone back about 3 times to try the dress on and they've been very patient and kind. I've never been to RK or Kleinfelds and Bridal Reflections in CP were too snotty, I liked the one in Massapequa better.
