dress shopping

I posted on 05 but would like some extra help. Is there anything I need to bring dress shopping with me? R there questions I should ask? Who did you take with u?

I guess if you have an idea of what you want, you don;t need anything.. If you are all over the place- bring some pics. I really thought it would be more of a consultative process, since the sales people are CALLED consultants... but I mostly got to look around wherever I was and pull anything i wanted.

They also always give you a bra and shoes- so don't worry about that.

Go with an open mind!! I wanted sleeves and ended up with spaghetti strap off the shoulder!!
Bring a camera and sneak pics Most places I went to you couldn't take pictures but I did.

DON'T WEAR A THONG!! The consultant comes in with you and helps you put the dress on. It can be a bit embarrassing. Also bring water! It's gets hot in the salon's.

I brought my mom, FMIL, and my BM's. Then when I was making my final decision I brought my aunt and grandma too

Also try and find out the designers and name of the dresses you like so when you leave you can look them up on the internet!

I keep my strapless bra in my glove compartment for dress shopping. The other day my fiancee was looking for a pen and found it... it was too funny. I feel funny wearing the same bra a million other women have worn... yuck.

I learned the underwear thing the hard way and YES it is embarrassing!
I would bring a strapless bra and i agree some water!

I went ONLY with my mom...IMO too many people = too many opinions

Oh and you may want to bring a CC or checkbook just in case you find one you love!
