Hey everyone.. I made an app't tomorrow to go dress shopping. By myself. Is it a good idea to go by myself? What have all of you done? Its the first time I will be going, and just want to get some ideas.

I went with my mom, but I don't see anything wrong with going by yourself. You can always bring people back with you once you have an idea of what you want or once you find 'the one' or the potential 'ones.' Make sure to bring pictures of things you like with you so the girls get an idea of what style you like.

i was planning to do that today. I wanted to do it by myself but thought it was stupid. Now i know it's not a bad idea maybe i'll do that on wednesday.

I guess you can go by yourself to get ideas. I went with my mom. I definitely think you need someone for an opinion when you know what dress you are going to want or when you have it down to a few or so. The bridal consultants are usually very helpful but it's not the same as brining someone you know. Have Fun! Keep us posted.

That's great Lauren! I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Maybe you could bring your camera and the assistant can take pictures! I was going to try dresses on by myself but my sister and mother came. But the assistant told me she would have taken the pics for me! Good luck!!
