OK, so i FINALLY made my first appt at a bridal salon to look/try-on dresses. Do I need to bring the bra with me or do they have them there to use and can I buy it if I like it?
Thanks

Re: Dress Shopping
If you have your own strapless, I would bring it with you...I know my salon has bras you can borrow, but I would not be comfortable with that..
Also bring pictures of dresses you like with you!

Re: Dress Shopping
Every place that I went to had bras you could use, but I brought my own. I also wore stockings...made me feel a little more comfortable without my undies hanging out so much! Most salespeople want to help you themselves.

Yea, most of the saleswomen wanted to dress me but I said no thanks. I can do it myself.

Re: Dress Shopping
The salon I went to had crinoline to wear while you try on dresses. With that and my strapless bra, I felt pretty well covered up.

Re: Dress Shopping
LOL The place I went to gave me a corset to wear..I was standing there in my underwear with the attendant.. I thought it was pretty funny... hey, you know we all have the same stuff underneath.. these women are only interested in selling you a dress, not checking you out.

Re: Dress Shopping
They give you a long line bra to try the dresses on with. Those bras are amazing, they suck everything in! I preferred to try dresses on with those bras instead of my own strapless, because I got a better idea of what I'd look like on the day of in the dresses. They smooth everything out.
