So ... it will soon be that time for dress shopping! Anyone have designers they recommend that I peek at? I am looking for vintage, lacy, antique inspired dressed. Any help is appreciated!
I'm not sure what your budget is, but whenever I think 'lacy' and 'vintage,' i tend to think of Jim Hjelm :). HTH!

So funny ... I happen to love some of his dresses but the website is SO slow! Ill have to keep trying. I checked Priscilla of Boston and Maggie Sorrento (or however you spell it ha ha)
my FH's cousin is getting married a few months after me and she got a really nice lace dress, the designer was maggie sottero... good luck!

I had a similar request... Lace, mermaid, vintage, lots of sparkle, with the 'wow' factor... I wouldn't necessarily look at specific designers. Go into a bridal store and tell them what you're looking for and they'll pull the dresses that fit your request. I did that and found my dress - by a designer I never heard of! Oh, and don't forget to haggle down the price!!!

My dress is all those things and its by Lazaro...I also ordered a jewel encrusted belt to add a little bling...
