my friends and i went to david's bridal yesterday to just look around and get some ideas and they actually do have some really cute dresses. my friend tried on this feathery one for fun and it actually looked really good on her! its totally worth checking out if u dont need a designer dress. with our experience, the people were nice and helpful.

Re: dress shopping
I would be careful about Bridal reflections dude...JMO- some people have great experiences but I've heard some HORROR stories...look on the brides review.
I know you guys don't like to hear negatives about things, but this is different...its not a designer...its stinks because I LOVE the designers they have some of the best dresses there. I know from personal experience I felt kind of ignored. They were very nice, but if you do buy a dress from them I would consider getting alterations done elsewhere..
AGAIN- this is jsut what I HAVE HEARD FROM THE BOARDS!!!!! Please no one get offended if you are using Bridal Reflections....

I think Megan, SoontobeMrsD, said the same thing. Even if you decide to go with David's Bridal, do NOT get in altered there... I've heard HORROR stories!

Re: dress shopping
thanks for the tips. ill def keep that in mind. im mostly dress looking right now
i heard they have a ton of dresses....and i really like way too many...so im hoping this helps me narrow down the style. and i know styles change but i really need to like narrow down the necklines and types of dresses etc. by the time im done looking at dresses i feel like ill have been to every single place imaginable!

Remember you have alot of time too....there are 3 seasons of dresses that will come out next year that will still give you plenty of time to order...

Re: dress shopping
I got my dress at David's Bridal in the Source and they were so helpful and nice! I have heard some negative things though about getting alterations there, so I might not go back to them for my alterations.

Re: dress shopping
i also had a good experience at bridal reflections. i was there for 2 hours. they were very attentive and helpful. they gave me a ton of dresses to try on. i even narrowed it down to one that i really could see myself in. however...im totally going to look around all over. i dont mind ordering a 2006 dress as long as i love it!
yeah i def dont know about alterations at any of these places. i havent even thought about that yet. i figured you dont have to get alterations at the same place...so worst case...the place has a dress and their alterations suck....I can take the dress elsewhere.

Re: dress shopping
I got mine from David's in The Source and I didn't have any problems...but from the advice on this site, I probably won't be having it altered there!
