I'm starting to shop around for my dress. I'm so excited but have no idea how to start. I have three dresses in mind that I love. I'm just wondering how to start this process. Should I call stores and see if they have the style numbers that I'm looking for and look around while I'm there? Do I just make an appointment to shop and look around? How does this work? I'm posting the three dresses in my albums in a bit. Thanks ladies!

Re: Dress Shopping
If you really want to see those particular dresses you have in mind, I'd definitely call before going to see if they have them there. Also, I guess it wouldnt hurt to look around also just in case something else cathces your eye. I havent yet gone shopping for dresses, so cant be too much ehlp, but I'm going sat to bridal reflections to start the search for the perfect dress!

Re: Dress Shopping
I had some wedding gowns in mind and when I tried them on I hated them. Best thing to do is go with an idea of what you want, but be open to trying something different. If you look in my album the dress I picked (and LOVED) is nothing what I had in mind.
Oh... you have to make an appt with Kleinfelds. Even if you don't get a dress there it's a great experience.

Re: Dress Shopping
the second dress is my favorite. It is by Jasmine and it's the 2007 collection. The last one is by Maggie Sottero. It is called Sposa Royale.

Re: Dress Shopping
They have it at The Wedding Center in Commack but you can order it elsewhere. Not many stores have the sample to try.
FM me if you need more info.

Re: Dress Shopping
Those dresses are beautiful: the styles are pretty different. I would reccommend going to a few bridal salons & trying on dresses to see what you like on yourself.
Bridal salon of Bayshore has a nice, extensive collection. I liked Macys too....try on some things that you would not normally thik you'd like (that's how I found mine).

Re: Dress Shopping
Beautiful dresses.! I started on the designer's website and searched locations that carried themh. then I called and asked if they had the samhple to try on. Some did, some didn't, some flat out lied and said they did, but didn't- haha
Your best bet is to go to a few places and try on a bunch and go from there.
