what places has everyone had the best experience dress shopping? that's next on my list along with photographer and DJ etc. So i wanna get some ideas of places that have a lot of choices and great service. I've heard horror stories about some places.. so i dont want to put myself and my bridesmaids through the pain of snobby sales ladies and bad service if i dont have to.
You'll probably hear good and bad things about most places... I guess some people have great experiences while others have nightmares at the same place. Personally, I had wonderful experiences at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and Carle Place. I also had a wonderful experience at Iman in Old Brookville. I didn't have the greatest experience at the Bridal Salon of Manhasset.
I had a great experience at David's Bridal, which is rare on the boards - I guess I just got really lucky! I think the previous poster is right - you should go check some places out for yourself and see what you think. Some others that are highly recommended here: Lillette's in Baldwin, Burton's in Melville, Bridal Elegance (can't remember where...sorry!!).
I had a wonderful experience at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. The people were VERY helpful and patient with me until I found THE dress
I had a great experience at Iman's in Old Brookville as well.
I've only had good experiences with Lillette's so far. I got my gown and my BM dresses there (along with my veil and hair comb).
I really love the ladies at Angel bridals in east Islip. They are a smaller place but have a huge heart and are totally helpful!!!!!!!!!11
Bridal Suite of Huntington is really great and very reasonable in terms of prices, and see Marge, she is there Tuesday and thursday evenings, and she is there on saturdays.
I had a great experience at Lillettes in Baldwin. They were so kind and patient with me and took the time to help find the right dress for me. They had a nice selection too.
You will hear mixed review on this one too. I so far am having a great experience with The Wedding Centre of Commack.
