Dress shopping

I want to start this weekend. Anybody recommend a place that is budget friendly? Also do they need an appointment.

I went to RK Bridal today, I found them to be very reasonable. Lots of stuff under $1,000 and a huge variety. No appointment necessary, just go in early and sign in and wait for them to call your name. I went at opening time 11am and did not have to wait.

Tried on a couple of dresses at Davids Bridal, some weren't the greatest quality, but there were a few really nice ones. Most are under $1,000. I made an appointment.

I would inquire about Sample Sales at Kleinfeld or Wedding Salon of Manhasset. Sometimes the samples are barely even tried on, you may be able to get a $$$ dress for $.
