dress shopping?

dress shopping?

I've been dress shopping 4 times and have tried on 100+ dresses - I like 2 Maggie dresses that are totally different styles - but nothing has hit me that this is 'THE ONE'!!!

Did you just know that it was 'THE ONE' when you put it on?

I have been to

Paradise Bridal
Village Bridal
Fantasia Bridal
Commack Wedding Center
Burtons

Which Bridal Reflections is better for wedding dresses?
Recommend other Dress shops

Re: dress shopping?

I recommend the BR in Carle Place, ask for Christina, she's really helpful and knowledgable.

Honestly, when I first tried on my dress I thought it was gorgeous, but didn't get that overwhelming feeling. Then I went to try it on again, complete with veil and standing on a pedestal, and I was floored. It was only the second time that I really realized this dress was 'the one'.

Same for me- i tried on about 7 dresses and mine was the only one I felt like a 'bride' in...

Sorry I can't recommend any places either-hope you find something soon.

I also recommend Carles Place, I got my dress there and they were beyond helful. I even did a dress re-select and they were so accomodating with me.

I never really knew when I found the 'ONE'. Maybe I am just not the type to get that feeling, but I knew I loved the way it looked on me and it was the exact style I wanted. Then when I went home and looked at pictures, I really loved it and kept thinking about it.

I was just really confused because I tried on over 100 dresses too.

Re: dress shopping?

i went to bridal suite of bayshore and tried on a bunch of dresses. they all looked like crap on me. the last gown(casablanca couture) i tried on there was gorgeous. it was the one!!
then i went to moonlight couture and only one gown spoke to me but it was only the ruching on the bottom i loved the top of it i hated.
then i went to alexandra boutique to buy the casablanca gown. the bc asked if i wanted to try anything or just the gown i was buying. my moh/sister said i should. man am i glad i did. i ended up going with a different gown!! it was everything i wanted!!!! i didnt want to take it off. so we ended buying that gown.
i did go to rk bridal with my fsil for here gown. i saw so many gowns but nothing caught my eye. i guess thats how know my gown was meant for me. nothing compares to it!!! lol

you will find the one!!!!
