Re: dress shopping?
If you have a few stores in mind try and give them a call to see. Some stores get jam packed fast and it may be a little hard to get the attention that you should get.

Re: dress shopping?
i think on weekends it is necessary to make appointments because that is when they are busiest.

Yeah I would only go to one place a day because it can get soo overwhelming. If you are anything like me with patience I recommend going really early or during the week so its not crowded! Good luck!

Re: dress shopping?
A lot of places require them, especially on the weekend. And you'll just get seen faster if you make an apptmt. even to places that allow walk-ins.

Re: dress shopping?
it's best to make appointments when dress shopping so you get the attention that is needed to select the perfect gown... a lot of places aren't that polite when you just walk in, esp if they have a full schedule.
good luck.

Re: dress shopping?
I would always call to make an appt just to be sure that I will have a set time for myself to try dresses on. Some places, like David's Bridal, you don't need appts. for.

Re: dress shopping?
It depends on where you go. My suggestion would be to call places in advance and see what your options are if you need to make an appt. When I went dress shopping I had made the appts in advance. Most places recommend it but I dont think they will push you out the door if you dont have an appt.
