Dress shopping again...

Dress shopping again...

So here is what I tried on Monday. I don't feel any closer to actually finding a dress!
Maggie - Isadora

with a hoop underskirt! LOL. Felt really silly when I moved.

This one was pretty, but I didn't feel like me and it just seemed too fancy.

This one comes in strapless but it has a straighter neckline.

you should do what i did- I had this picture in mind of a dress a long time ago that I wanted. Lace and antique looking. But then, my three sisters each got married, and 2 of them wore lacey dresses. And I felt like i would feel like i was wearing one of their dresses to get married. So when I went shoping, I tried on 3 dresses. all three that either I wouldn't pick because they were not something I liked on the hanger, or something I wouldn't pick because I would think 'i would never look good in that.' And, the second dress I put on is the dress I ordered. Sometimes its a good idea to pull something you NEVER would have thought you would like. And either you will be shocked that you love it, or it will help you build a list of things you know you DON'T want in a dress which will give you a clearer picture while shoping.

as ps- i think that of all those dresses, the last one is the most flattering on you. Those ones with the seperate looking top vs. skirt seem to cut you in half.

Actually, that last one is literally KILLER on you.

i have to say, i LOVE the dress that you said comes in strapless but with a straighter neckline. I think it looks stunning on you! so did that last dress!
