Dress Shopping ANXIETY!

Hi Ladies!
I have such anxiety over dress shopping! Is this normal?!
My MOH has finally pushed me to just do it so I made an appt for this Sat at Paraside Bridal.
Anyone ever been there? Anything I need to know?
I feel so weird getting undressed in front of a total stranger.
Any advice?

Ive never been there but heres some advice...

DONT BE NERVOUS! This is SOOO MUCH FUN! =)) Just shake all the nervous energy out and remember your shopping for your wedding dress =)

If you have a look in mind then awesome BUT also be open to try things you think you wont like cause YA NEVER KNOW! =))

And DONT be nervous about getting undressed in front of someone else, shes a professional shes seen hundreds of women undressed. And shes not critiquing you ya know? Shes there to help you get in and get out of the dress and sometimes offer a suggestion or advice on a dress. Trust me NOTHING to be nervous about. PLUS its a woman shes got all the same parts as you! hehehe

HAVE FUN! =)) CMON its your wedding dresssssssssss its the MOST FUN a girl can have SERIOUSLY!

AND dont buy anything your not 100% sure of. SOmetimes in the moment and if the sales person is pushy it can make you think you HAVE to buy it right this second, but again unless your 100% sure THIS IS THE ONE dont do anything.

ALSO you'll just KNOW when youve found the one. Its something that cant be put into words. ITs just something happens and you JUST KNOW... I dont know how else to describe it. My dress was being pulled up and before it was even zipped I said OMG I think this is it! And when I walked out of the room and my mom cried I JUST KNEW! IT was literally the first one out of ALL of them EVEN the first one, that actually made my mom cry and get all choked up... =))

aww you are so sweet! I just need a little motivation. I was thinking of wearing boy shorts and a strapless bra. What do you think?

and yes- i do have a style in mind and have some pictures printed out that I will show the consultant.

I want to say also, don't be nervous! It's sucha special thing to do, you should enjoy it!

Don't worry about undressing in front of the salespeople, they have seen thousands of people, they don't care! Also, it's impossible to try most dresses on by yourself because they are heavy, poufy etc....

The strapless bra and boy shorts sounds good...I had nos special undergarments on because I went dress shopping on a whim and bought my dress at the only place I went to!

Another piece of advice is don't bring too many people with you, everybody has a different opinion and I think that could get a little crazy( but that is just MY opinion)

I am only taking my Mom & MOH.

I bought my dress at Paradise. My consultant was Marge and she was the absolute sweetest woman. They don't have to help you get undressed/dressed unless you want them to. You can have your mom or whoever you go shopping with do it if you feel more comfortable. I've heard a lot of girls say they had negative experiences here, but I have to say, I had no complaints at all!

Just relax and have a good time with it... you don't have to find 'the dress' on the first try.

Strapless and boy shorts sounds perfect. I had a reg bra and boy shorts and they had a strapless that they lent me so dont worry! =) Your already better prepared than I was! LOL
