how far in advance did u all make your appointments for dress shopping. I'm looking to go to lilette's, Bridal Reflections and Bridal Elegance first... i was thinking of going the weekend after my eparty which is sept. 9th..when do you think i should call? And what's the best day to go?? Thnx!

I was lucky and made it the day of. It doesnt hurt to call in advace they will tell you if they will take your appointment that early... maybe they will. I felt that I was rushed when I went during the weekend and on the week day they let me take my time and try on more than 5 dresses.

Usually they can get you in that seem week that youre calling, if not the same day. But you can certainly call now for a September 9th apointment if you wanted to. Then at least you'll have your pick of the time and day youre coming in since youre doing it so far in advance.

I made my appointment at Bridal Reflections a few weeks before I wanted to go. It can't hurt to call now

weekdays are FAR better then weekends. I took time off from work to do my dress shopping. when I went back on a weekend to put the order through i waited for a really long time.
Appointments can be made the day of or a month in advance. I did it both ways.

thanks ladies. I haven't gone yet so i wasn't sure. I'd def. like to go on a week day if i can get my mom and my MOH to come with me .. i feel like it's not as much fun to go alone..lol) .. but maybe if i make an appt. for a weekend in a week or 2 then i can get an early morning or something when it's not as busy!
