Dress Shopping... Are you Allowed to take Pictures?
Re: Dress Shopping... Are you Allowed to take Pictures?
It depends on the place. I was in 2 places that have signs that say no pictures. Then I've been in places that said 'OH you can take pictures if you like!'. If all else fails, just ask!

You can ask b/c if someone takes out a camera they will say go ahead or sorry we dont allow it ..but when we find your dress they will def. let u take pictures!!! It's really about the designer of the dress that do this not the bridal store

Usally if it's a trunk show or an exhibit featuring a particular designer you can't. My sister went to a Ramona Kevetza trunk show and I couldn't take any photos of her in the Ramona dresses but any other dress, as long as it was not Ramona, I was able to take pictures. I think it all just depends on each shop's individual policy.

I went to 2 stores - both had the 'no pictures until purchase' policy. At the first store, my sister just took out her camera and started clicking and the lady helping me asked her to put it away. It wasn't a big deal. What stores are you going to? I bet a lot of the girls on LIW could tell you the policies of the stores. :)

I was allowed to take pictures at most stores except for Paradise Bridal and I think RK Bridal.
