Re: Dress shopping attire...
wear something thats easy on easy off. and shoes that are easy on easy off
honestly, the best outfit is jeans, a sweater and shoes that come on and off easily.
because honestly, you will be just about to leave then you will spot a dress, and you will have to take everything off again.
where are you going to try on dresses?

i agree, jeans and a sweater/sweatshirt - try not to layer much, its just more to take off.

Re: Dress shopping attire...
for the sake of modesty I wore boy shorts...but of course when the lady was 'helping' me out of one of the dresses the zipper snagged my shorts and she pulled them down!! in front of a mirror and my ENTIRE BP!
it was pretty comical but I was MORTIFIED! LOL
but definitely easy on and easy off...slip on shoes comfy pants...minimal buttons.
have a great time and good luck!

i agree. Easy on, easy off. No thong. But i would wear a strapless bra. The woman kept taking mine off and that made me uncomfortable, since I'm so flat i make the walls jealous. So the second time I wore a strapless and she left it on. Plus the doors are open and people are trying to sneak glances and if your alittle insecure like me, it's just better to be covered.

I didn't have a strapless bra but most places gave me one to use. It's kind of gross wearing a bra that someone else wore. If you own a strapless, I'd wear it.
As for the underwear, most places I went to gave me a slip to wear so no one ever saw my underwear. The only place that the woman made me feel uncomfortable was at Macy's. She made me stand there in just panties and a bra and she was so close to me. She didn't even avoid looking. Urgh.

Probably the same lady at Macys
I had to stand in my bra and underwear only to get measured. And her breath was kicking. ugh..

Re: Dress shopping attire...
This is a funny thread..because I am the person that dresses you. The stories I could tell SOme women are VERY comfortable wearing NOT MUCH!! Granted when I am in a dressing room with someone, I do all I can not to look at them much, just focus on the dress, and zipping, etc..chatting about whatever. wanting them to feel as comfortable as they possibly can considering they are half naked in front of a perfect stranger. Wear the slip if it applies, and a nice strapless bra, then you are really covered well. and everyone can be pretty comfortable.
I have seen enough thongs to last me a lifetime, and you have to zip them up, and sometimes the fabric gets cought and you have to stick your hand inside the dress....thats when I ask fi maybe mom wants to come in and help
I have had TWO different women ask me if I wanted to touch their implants , they were sooo proud, it's just like NOOO THANK YOU,LOL trust me you all would die if you saw what happened behind those doors sometimes!
PS....who the heck was taking your bra off? I have NEVER heard of someone doing that, very weird, I prob. wouldn't go back to see her!
GOOD LUCK SHOPPING!

If you have slip on shoes, wear them. I wore sweats with a t-shirt/tanktop & hoodie, no zippers etc, just an elastic waist band on the pants. Made my life easy, and with the hoodie if I was standing in the dressing room waiting to see anther dress I could throw it on and NOT stand there in my underwear. I don't own a strapless bra, although if I did, I would have worn it.

Tell me about it, I wore lace boy shorts and I think the lady got a little unexpected show.

Re: Dress shopping attire...
i wore: comfy jeans, my comfy sneakers (so i could slide 'em on/off without having to lace/unlace), a vneck shirt (easy on/easy off with no buttons) and, more importantly boy shorts (didn' t want to subject anyone to my arse) and convertible strapless (so i didn't have to use one that hundreds of other girls have used).
hope that helps!

Too funny!!
Ok, so I'm thinking, Jeans and a shirt with no thongs...hmm...mostly all i have is thongs...but I'll figure something out and I'll wear a strapless bra.
Thanks girls!! I can't wait!
(ps, I live in baltimore and am therefore going shopping around here...my mom and sister are coming down for the occasion, can't WAIT!!!)
