Also, my dress budget is 3,000 and under! I would prefer way under that but if its my dream dress we will splurge!

Yay, i loved going bridal gown shopping!I just bought my gown this weekend (i posted on the 07 board) anyhow good luck!
Go to: 1. Bridal Reflections Massapequa( they will have beautiful gowns within you budget) see Marylou 2. Bridal couture of manhasset 3. Lilletes, now, i've heard amazing reviews about this place, unfort. i bought my dress b4 i had the chance to go to the salon but check it out if you can..

i agree, shop til you drop wherever you want and then take the name and style of the dress--
they will get it for you and then you could end up getting a dress that was out of your budget FOR your budget or under!!

$3K is a good budget - I got to try on everything I wanted to. I highly reccomend Klienfelds if you want to try on EVERYTHING, because they HAVE everything. I also liked the Wedding Salon of Manhasset.
ETA: My dress was $2K, but after alterations, Tax and bustle, it was almost $3K, so just maybe keep that in mind!

I ordered from Bridal Reflections in Carle Place... I worked with Dana and Barbara. They have been great!
Other places that had a nice selection were Paradise bridal in Patchogue, Bridal Couture in Manhasset & Iman Bridal in Brookville. I found that the Wedding Salon in Manhasset had mainly ballgowns.. so if you are looking for a ball gown definitely check there.

definitely lillettes but if u are planning to go fri dec 22nd- they are actually closed for the holidays - they will be open on dec 26. i've beenworking with geri & shes a doll!! you can also try burtons- i havent gone there but i've heard alot of great things about them

I've been shopping around and the best experiences I've had so far have been at Lidia's in Copaigue Macy' in Lake Grove - ask for Lily...she is so sweet
