dress shopping question

I am about to start to look for my dress.

Please tell me the best places to go. (Nassau south shore is the best)

Also, does every place require an appt? Does anyplace allow you to just look?

i highly recommend macy's bridal salon in manhasset. the service is great and my dress came in two months ahead of schedule. they are open both days of the weekend, but it is good to have an appointment. they were the first salon i checked out, so my first visit was almost 3 hours long. i tried on every dress in the store
