dress shopping question

yeah I was in undies and a strapless with my consultant, but GET THIS

I went dress shopping with one of my BMs last night (she's getting married sept 2012). and it was a very large dressing room.. meant to have the whole gang in there while she tried on dresses.. so her mom, another bm and I sat there while she switched into different dresses. WEIRD
I mean, she was ok with it because she's comfortable with us but the fact that that was the norm at that salon REALLY confused me

yea not sure if i want a crowd watching me lol


i would just feel so awkward!!!!

Different places do different things.

For example:

Village Bridal: You put the dress on by yourself in the fitting room, and they help with the zipper, corset, etc.

Bridal Suite of Bay Shore: They give you a corset bra and slip to put on, then they come in and help you with the dress. It's actually nice, because they dont see you completely naked. You're basically completely covered with the slip and bra.

Lillettes: They see EVERYTHING!! LoL...awkward at first to be walking around in your bra and panties, but by the end, you totally don't care!

I totally just took my lunch break at Macys to get the boxer underwear.
