Yesterday my friend and I went to Macys Bridal Salon in Manhasset and then to the Wedding Salon of Manhasset. We were not happy with Macy's at all. The attendant was not helpful at all. My friend was the one doing all the work (helping me into dresses, carrying them ino the dressing room, and fixing the dresses when I stood on the stands). We were so frustrated with the place, I just got dressed and left. The attendant didnt even realize this becaue she was too busy talking on the phone. To top it off, when I called to make the appointment, I was told my friend can also try on dresses with me since she is getting married a few weeks before me. The attendant was very rude about it and said she needed to make her own appt because she can only work with one person at a time. She could have at least been nicer about it.
On a more positive note, the service at the Weddingl Salon of Manhasset was outstanding. My friend and I were able to try on countless numbers of dresses and one attendant hepled us both. Tiffany was so wonderful and understand what we both wanted. She spent over 2 hours with us and even worked an hour and a half over her scheduled time just to help us out. I highly recommend them. Professional, friendly, and amazing service.

The prices vary. I tried on a dress that cost $6900 and my freind tried on a dress that cost $500 (sample dress that was in good condition). Also, if its your first time there and you buy the dress, you get 10% off.

Ditto on Macy's wasn't please with the one in Lake Grove! One lady kept getting snotty and wouldn't even look at me when I was trying to talk to her. I told them I wanted the list of the dresses I liked so I could go else where. All of a sudden I was treated like a high end celeb! They threw out my information the first time I was in there so I had to start all over again!
Loved Fantasia in Rocky Point and Bridal Suite of Centereach... Still havent picked out my dress!!

Re: Dress Shopping Review
I think a lot of brides steer clear of the Wedding Salon of Manhasset because they think they only have super expensive gowns. But they have a wide variety of prices. I tried on gowns for $1000 and I tried ones on for $6000. I told my attendant my budget and she didn't bring anything out above that, until I pointed to my dress which was a little out of my range. But she didn't pressure me to spend more money, and she helped me for 3 hours. I closed the place down. They were great.
