Dress shopping Sat!

I'm going dress shopping for the first official time on Saturday (I went kinda spontaneously with one of my MOH in PA). I have a q though... my budget is $2,000... should I tell them $2,000 or $1,800??

B/c I don't want them to show me dresses OVER my budget, but I do want them to show me $2,000 ones.

Any other words of advice?

Strapless bra- check!
full coverage undies- check!

if you have a budget of $2,000 you should ask to see dresses up to $1,800. remember you will have added expenses like tax, bustle, slip, etc.

so you don't want to fall in love with a dress you really can't afford.

I would tell them $2000 but emphazise that you don't wanna go over that amount.
