Dress Shopping Today!!!

with FMIL and FSIL. I'm getting married in July, when should I actually purchase?? is it too soon?

I purchased mine almost 14 months before haha if you find it, go for it!

when i did find it, i took some time to visit other stores and try other styles and exhaust all my options so in my head i would know there's nothing else out there for me, but after that, i didn't waste any time ordering :)

If you find something you love, then I don't think there's anything wrong with ordering your dress. Find out if they will hold your dress for you once it comes in so you don't have to keep it the whole time.

I got mine about 14 months out too. You do not have to get it that early but if you fall in love with a dress go for it.

Depending on the designer it can take up to 10 months to get a dress!

I'm going tomorrow and am getting married in July too. I think I am going to try a few places for this month then purchase. There is one dress I have to wait for the bridal shop to get it on borrow for me to try on (the designer just went on vacay), so that will also delay the process. Not to mention I have a complex in buying things too fast, I must know I am getting the best item with the best deal. HAVE FUN!!!

i don't think so. i'm getting married next June and haven't bought mine yet. hopefully will have it by the end of the month.

A lot of brides usually get their dress anywhere from a year to 9 months before their wedding. I def. don't think you're behind schedule though but I'd probably aim to buy one within the next month just so you have time with fittings.

I got mine 14 months before too. I ordered it in November and it just came in in June. If you really love it I would order it because it can take a while for it to come in.
