Dress Shopping Tomorrow

Ok...I'm a dress shopping newbie. I have appts with Bridal Reflections & Priscilla of Boston tomorrow...what do I bring with me?

will they let me take pics? btw it's BR in Massapequa & POB in Roslyn Heights

I doubt it... I think you can just take pictures at most places once you buy the dress.

Have fun! I did not bring anything with me but I did wear a strapless bra and boyshorts.

nothing special to bring unless you have a longline corset you want to wear under the dress. Maybe wear a good bra

I wore a really good bra and spanx as well, god bless the woman who made that!!!!! Have fun, I tried on about 25 dresses only to choose the 2nd one I tried!!!! It's the best though!! :)

I went to Bridal Reflections in MAssapequa too and delt with MaryLou, she was awesome. She saw I was really interested in a dress so we asked about taking pics. She said when she was getting the information card for me and my mom to go in the room and take a few pictures, she just couldnt see us doing it. I'm going to a few more stores and if I dont find anything close to the dress there I'm going back to Bridal Reflections. Mary Lou was amazing to deal with.

Advice: make sure you try your first dresses on again at the end once you have something to compare them to!

I wound up with one of my first ones!

strapless bra, no thongs , bring a pair of heels just in case they don't have any on hand....go with your gut feelings and try not to bring too many people with you. My mom was enough and you remembered at the tea party how she carried on .. good luck..let me know how it goes.

Spanx are great aren't they!

ALot of places have not let me take pictures.... I think just david's bridal and i am never going back there!

In this day and age with camera phones you can take pics anywhere. I went with my BM's to one place and I would say can you 'Text so and so' and that was code for one of them to get out there cell phone pretend they were texting and snap pics.

Also I have found when I go alone, I tell them I cant make a decision without my mom and she is OOT so then they will even take the pics for me.. LOL!!
