Dress shopping... what to wear, what to bring?

So next Friday I'm going dress shopping for the first time So exited but now I need to figure out what to wear and what things should I bring along.

There's a certain dress that I'm going to try on so I'm bringing a picture of that but should I bring a few others that I think are ok?
Should I wear shapewear?
Should I bring shoes?
Please help me

Usually when you go dress shopping for the first time all you will need is a good fitting strapless bra and a pair of underwear that does not show lines. Some bridal shops will give you a longline bra when trying on dresses to purchase later if you want. If you are planning on wearing a more fitted dress and your worried about how it will look, you can bring shapewear too if you like.

As far as shoes go, unless you are looking to find a dress that will go with your shoes, i wouldn't buy the shoes first. You can bring some heels that are the height you were thinking of wearing on your wedding day though if you like.

I didn't bring shoes. I just wore flats since we were running around.

Strapless bra definitely.

Unides that won't show yr booty to the world. I wore a thong with a short slip, so I could just change in front of anyone! Did not wear spanx

I wore comfy clothes easy to take on and off, and a strapless bra. That was it

The slip idea is great. I hate changing in front of people
