I have just started dress shopping and plan to spend $3,000 at most after alterations. Can you guys recommend the best places to go in Manhattan and Nassau County? Thanks!

I didn't buy my dress in Manhattan or Nassau...but if check recent posts, you'll know where NOT TO GO in NASSAU!!!
Every dress I saw that I loved was listed at RK Bridal in NYC, but I don't know how their prices are.

Ordered my dress at Lillette's in Baldwin, the ladies there were very helpful. The dress is not in yet so I can't give a 100% recommendation.

I got my dress at RK Bridal in NYC. They have a huge selection and the prices are great!!! I got my dress ( Jim Hjelm Designer) for under $900. It is not a 'grand' experience but the people are nice and helpful.
