Dress Shopping- who has gone with you?

Dress Shopping- who has gone with you?

I want to always have someone with me for their opinion (hopefully an honest one

I think maybe my mom as she is brutally honest and then maybe my sister. For city places I may bring friend that lives close.

For my dress think I want BMs to be surprised when they see it on wedding day.

How do you feel? who did you go with?

i first went with my mom...narrowed it down to 4 choices...and then took my mom, sister & FMIL to narrow it down, and actually choose one.

i'm gonna go with my sister and my mom. once i find a couple of dresses i really like then i'll take my fmil.

I went for the first time yesterday, and I went with my mom, my two sisters, my aunt, and grandma. lol...I had all three generations with me and they helped me narrow it down to one dress! I say go with family, I feel like family will be more honest and just as excited as you are!

and my daughter..even though shes no help all she was doing was crying because she wanted to wear a tiara lol

First time went with mom only... 2nd time- mrsdrinkwater, 3rd time mom and grandma

I went with my mom, aunt and MOH once and then only with my mom and aunt the rest of the times

Mom, FMIL, my BMs, my aunt and my son. All at different times. MrsDtoBe09 came with me after I picked it out and took the best pic of me in so far!!!

My dress shopping has been mixed, I have gone solo, with my mom, with my mom and sister and this weekend with my sister in law to be and FH's cousin.

I don't mind people seeing me in a dress now b/c i know the effect will be completely different once hair, makeup and the accesroies are in place --that will be the real 'wow' regardless. BUt, surprises are always fun too!

LOL I actually had a dream last night that I went dress shopping and that half my family showed up! I had to be like ummm go away! hahah

I think I just dreamed that bc one of my friends had to rent a tux so we were hanging out in the tuxedo store for like 20 mins yesterday. I haven't started looking at dresses yet.

I first went with one of my BMs, then I took a bunch of female family members, and then I went with my dad. Basically whoever was around or paying

Went with my coworker b/c we were both looking for a dress It was great!
