Dress shops in NYC

does anyone know of a dress shop (not dept. stores) in Manhattan?

Somewhere that doesn't only sell strapless or spaghetti strapped dresses.

TIA!

ETA: not for a wedding gown. one of my relatives wants to buy a dress.
