The woman that helped me said they run very small. I tried on a dress and she said I needed one size smaller or a petite. I don't feel that I am petite and the petite was short anyway for the size heel I want to wear. I am nervous that the smaller size will be too small.
Past David's Brides......did you go a size up or a size down??
Do they really run small??

my bridesmaid dresses were from davids bridal and one of my bridesmaids was a size 2 normally and she had to get a 4... come to think of it they all got sizes bigger than they are normally.

I'm a street size 10 in capris, 12 in jeans and L or 14/16 in shirts. When I first tried on bridal gowns, they gave me an 18W and it fit. A few months later when I went in to order the dress, the 18W was too big, so I tried on a 16W and it was perfect. They ordered my bridal gown in size 16W and it fits like a glove, just needed a little taken in by the bust and princess seams, and of course, the hem, because I'm short!
I would try on several different sizes of the same dress to see which size fits you best and go with that.
