Dress Slip

What is everyone doing? I am wearing an A-line dress and from what I remember had some kind of material aside form the dress under it already built in. They gave me one of those poofy slips to try it on with, But I think I also tried it on without it and it seemed okay. What do you think?

That's exactly what I did. I tried it on with and without. It's is fine without and will save me the money for only wearing once. I asked the Bridal Salon if they rented the slips and they don't. They were trying to get me to purchase the slip for about $100.00, and told me I 'really' needed it, NOT. So if they ask again I'll simply tell them I found one.

The only problem with telling them you already found one is that they will want you to bring it in so they can alter your dress properly. If you don`t think you need one, just tell them that, you don`t need to lie to them, it`s your choice. I never really thought about not needing one. You`d think I`d remember what my dress was like underneath (it`s only been 3 1/2 months) but I think it had that crinoline that would be itchy next to the skin. My bridal shop offered a few different slips, one was very puffy (not for me). I ended up with the least puffy one but they also rented them. $25, which was fine by me as I know I didn`t want to own one.
