Need upscale dress store recommendation. This will be my second marriage and I want an elegant evening dress. I need something off the rack on Long Island because my wedding is this Nov 29. Price is not an issue. Thanks.

I would check out the wedding salon in manhasset.. they are more upscale and sell vera wang and other really nice designers. You could totally find a gorgeous white evening gown there. Everyone I've spoken to had a wonderful experience there too

Bloomingdales? Or Saks or Bergdorf if you're willing to go to the city. I believe they sell evening gowns in Kleinfeld, too.

i second wedding salon of manhasset! mine was also a second marriage and i ended up splurging on a vera wang. mine was the juliette. i ended up going with ivory because my husband is pretty traditional, but my dress was also offered in a gorgeous nude color. anyhoo, i ordered in early-mid december 2012 and my dress was delivered the first week of feb 2013 (had to pay a rush fee) so it might be doable.
i'm not sure if you are open to colors other than ivory also, but monique lhuillier has some gorgeous evening gowns at saks & neiman.
