Is anyone else completely stressing about dress shopping. So my issue is everything I thought I was going to like is just eh, and all the things that wow me, are the things I would never pick out and end up just randomly trying on! Then, ontop of that everytime i find a new dress I like i feel like its just adding confusion! Theres so many pretty dresses out there, i feel like im never going to be able to pick just one!!

I agree! I have found lots of nice dresses but not one that I love!

I'm not too stressed over dress shopping because I have a pretty good idea of what I want. Although I am stressed and afraid that the dresses I like are going to be discontinued before I even get the chance to try them on!!
I think it's fine to feel overwhelmed right now...especially because there are so many beautiful gowns out there and sooo many different styles to choose from. I think that what you need to do is try on a ton of different styles (ballgown, a-line, mermaid, etc.) and see which styles you like the most. Then when you know which style(s) you like the most then I think you should try on a bunch of different dresses in all different materials, styles, and simple vs. embellished gowns. Over time after trying on a bunch I'm sure you will be able to narrow down what type of dresses you like and eventually find 'the one' that you love!

When I was looking for my dress I had a very specific idea in my head of what I wanted. I never liked dresses with a lot of detail - I wanted a VERY plain dress. Not poofy or anything.
When i tried these on, I was like ehh nothing special.
I started trying on dresses I'd never in a million years think I'd like and I ended up with a beautiful dress.
Sweetheart neckline, detailed bodice. and organza semi-poofy at the bottom. Totally the opposite of what I imagined but I couldn't be happier.
Just keep trying on EVERYTHING, don't rule anything out. You'll find something you love that just wows you.
