Dress stress

Dress stress

Ok so I bought my dress in December. Since then, I have second guessed my choice like 3x!! I keep myself up at night thinking I bought the wrong dress!! Does anyone else ever think like this?? I wondering if it's just in my head, or if i have a real problem with it! I don't know what to do, because I really really don't have it in my budget to buy another dress...
I sometimes think that I am second guessing it because I always saw myself in a more form fitting trumpet or mermaid style, and I went and bought a ball gown! Should I go back and try it on again??
I did go to many stores, and I tried on a ton of dresses, so it isn't like it was a spur of the moment decision...
pics are in my album

Re: Dress stress

do not keep looking. if you ordered something and you loved it it is totally natural to second guess your decision - it was a big decision!

i say throw in the towel and DO NOT keep looking!

your dress is beautiful!

Re: Dress stress

i love love love your dress!

But YOU have to love it not me!

when i second guessed my dress, i went and tried it on again and then I ended up changing it

so I highly suggest you go try it on and if you are not jumping up and down and super excited and happy in it...then change it!

I really feel like if youre not wearing the right dress it will affect your whole day, you have to feel amazing in your dress

maybe if you end up not liking it like you thought you would, you can buy a cheaper, simple trumpet gown maybe from Davids Bridal?

anyway, try it on first!!!! then come back and tell us how you feel then!

Re: Dress stress

I think everyone seconds guesses at some point but there is a reason you fell in love with the dress originially. I would say don't look for another dress unless you are absolutely sure that they dress is not the one you want.

Re: Dress stress

I also 2nd guessed my dress after I bought it, I think a lot of brides do. Its natural.. I went back tried on 10 more dresses out the one I bought back on and that was all I needed to know that I did get 'the one' You chose your dress for a reason so I say go with your gut and stop looking at dresses...besides yours is beautiful and you look stunning in it!

i just checked out your dress and can i just say, that it is stunning!!!!!!!!!!
i have second guesses my dress like a million times over and in the end, i didn't have it in my budget either.
it wasn't until i went for my first dress fitting and had everything on again that i fell in love all over again.
stop looking at new dresses and try not to think about it

Re: Dress stress

you sound exactly like me!

i originally wanted a fitted dress too, but i couldn't find anything that had everything i was looking for. i went with more of an a-line. i second guess my dress ALL OF THE TIME. i love it and it has everything i want, but i can't seem to get over the fact that it's not the original shape i wanted. i think i'll feel better once i try it on in my size.

omg your dress is beautiful!!! you look amazing in it..buttttttt YOU need to be happy and in love with it.
its your day and if you don't feel beautiful in your dress, you might regret it? idk thats just me, but could you sell the dress if you find a new one? David's has amazing dresses- i dont care what other people say about it! and they are very reasonable!
