dress stress
first: my dressthe day before sandy, i went back to paradise to try on my dress with other people and finalize the deposit.
it just didnt look the same! do you think it was for one of these reasons:
-- dress @ this store was smaller than the one i tried on originally (neither fit)
-- i didnt have any bra on this time (first time had strapless on- the kind that goes to your waist)
i freaked out and have to go back to finalize.... i think im going to bring a to-waist bra
(also freaked out because 3 different people there took 3 different measurements for my hollow to hem.....)
second: BM dresses
my MOH and one (preggo) BM tried on dresses and loved one. problem is, they didnt have the color i wanted in stock -- then i looked online and it doesnt seem to be exactly correct and FW is concerned.
we may go back with a swatch to compare (my ribbon that i carried to earlier appts)....
so we are going backwards!!! lol. and sandy didn't help.
any advice welcome!

I tried my dress on in a couple different sizes too. I wouldnt worry too much about the difference in the look based on the size. As for undergarments: of course its going to look different with a bra vs without one. You fell in love with your dress for a reason (you looked FAB) dont second guess yourself!

I'm having the same issue with BM dresses! Designers send out 90% of a sample in one color only and thats why the swatch is used. But swatches are so deceiving! I feel your pain, super nervous also!
