Dress STress is becoming a REALITY!!!!!

OK this may be long but you need the BIG PICTURE:

I had an extremely hard time finding a dress it litterally took blood sweat and tears to find the perfect dress I went to almost EVERY bridal salon on long island.

I finally found a dress I needed to make some changes make it strapless etc.... I have never seen the dress in white so I have no idea what it will look like. I had the top redone.

I ordered a size 12 I pleaded with them to order me a smaller size because I knew I would be losing weight. I said I would sign something etc.. they said no and insisted on the size 12.

OK they measured my Hollow to Hem at 58 in. a few weeks later they called me back to re-measure and said my HTH was 59 1/2 so I have been having anxiety over that.

Yesterday I go in to put money down on my dress and they said Oh no you lost too much weight. I said I told you I would but no one listened.

They told me to stop. I said I can't I just got braces and I was forced to give up certain foods I can't help the weight loss. They are nervous that the dress is going to be too big.

What the H3ll am I suppose to do now? My dress was custom so even if I had to order a new one on a rush it would be regular NOT custom

I feel like crying what am I suppose to do now.

I should have went immediately and picked anew dress after my EX friend copied it

awww hang in there...its easier for them to take the dress in than let it out so thats a good thing! Try not to panic. THey have to do whatever they need to do to fix it.

As far as braces, I had braces and it didnt lead to weight loss. There were plenty of foods that I could still eat that kept my weight the way it is. If you are still losing weight I wouldn't necessarily attribute it to the braces ya know?

Hang in there it will be ok!

I agree with Lauren! They will figure out how to make it work. Don't stress about it! I'm sure they will be able to take in it with no problem.


Now...how do I get me some braces?

It will all be ok. If they can't alter it to fit you I am sure you can find someone that can.

If you really want to stop weight loss there is always ice cream.

I am worried about that too....but they told me that its easier to take the dress in than to take it out and that when they do alterations, they can fix dresses being too big. I am afraid that mine wont look as perfect if they have to take in in too much...so I am worried too.... But, I am trying to think positive and hope that the ladies can do my alterations correctly.... I'm sure your ladies can do the same thing and make your dress look perfect.

don't let those haters stress you.....get the dress when it comes in and take it somewhere else to have it altered....find a little old italian lady to do it.....i am sure it will be fine.....it is easier to take a dress in then if you gained a bunch of weight.....i am so sorry this happened

dont stress.... they will just have to take it in and suck it up... what kinda place is this that they have the nerve to speak to u like that sounds like they just dont wanna do the extra work and im sure they will have no prob charging u an arm and an leg for the alts now...

hey braces buddy!!!

my teeth hurt so badly right now i just had ICE CREAM for lunch....

as for the dress, i'm sure it will be all sorted out! seamtresses can do amazing things!!

wait a minute, WAIT A MINUTE.....

you hate ice cream, and you're losing too much weight??
