ok i know i am always posting about dresses but for some reason this is like the one major thing i am obsessed about. everything else was easy for me to decide. anyway what style of dress are you doing? more specifically who is not doing strapless? i am on this kick all of a sudden to have like a halter or maybe off the shoulder dress....something different than strapless. PLEASE POST PICS OF NON-STRAPLESS IF YOU HAVE! TIA!!!

Re: dress style
Here is one i tried on..its a sweetheart neckline but with some kind of lace straps...i can't decide on a dress either...have at least 3 i love...this pic doesn't do the dress justice because i am not 'filling' it out...thank god for sewing in cups!!

i love many strapless bit i started to think i would look like tons of other brides by wearing strapless. if i think of all the weddings i have been to i remember all the brides wearing strapless.....but thats all i can remember. none of their gowns stand out to me. so that started me on the path to something a bit different.

Re: dress style
I am trying to find something 'different' also...looking for a more informal style since my wedding will be outdoors in June...a heavy sating dress would be HOT! haha
Here are some Maggie Sotteros I had wanted to look at..you may like the necklines.

ohh i like yasmin....that is nice. i love the 'light' looking dresses but i always feel like they would cling to my fat behind and thighs. i guess the only way to find out would be to try some on.

Re: dress style
originally i was like there is NOOO wayy i will wear a strapless dress until I tried the dress and saw t on me- try every style even if the neckline isnt what you originally liked or whatever it is - I thought strapless would look RIDICULOUS on me but I tried on the dress since I liked the style and to my suprise it actually complimented my body

yeah that was def my mistake when i have gone dress shopping a couple of times. i always tried on the same style of dress...strapless. i love how it looks but trying to consider all options. next time i go looking i am going to try on many different styles...even ones i may not neccessarily like. my mother always told me you have to try it on to really tell....it will look better on you than on the hanger.

Re: dress style
how is this bunching look. is it juvenile or classy? i love the dress but cant quite decide if it makes me look young....not that i am old but on my wedding day i want to look elegant and classy. im not sure if this style portrays that.
ok well i am trying to post a pic but the resizer is not currently working......ok a link will have to do.....
mine is off the shoulder becaue I am big chested and feel more comfortable with some support. strapless dresses dont fit me right

Oh I think that dress if very very pretty. I tried on one similiar to it but unfourtantly the bunching didn't work right for me. Such a shame I was really loving the look. But I do love my choice.
