Dress update...ANOTHER UPDATE!

So if you remember my first post...I went to my 2nd fitting and there was a pull in my dress...along with a dark spot. I complained but the ladies said they couldnt notice it!

Argh...so I complained to the owner who agreed it was a problem....and tried to clean/fix it but it didnt work out...so she ordered a new piece of satin to sew in! Yikes....its now Tuesday..the satin has arrived and they are working to put it in. I have a panic feeling in my gut...not good. 3rd fitting is supposed to be tomorrow but they arent sure if it will be ready by tomorrow. GREAT! They say this is normal but I am scared they are going to f it up and its not going to fit right. Why why why why why???

Beside this...I am calm!

UPDATED - So I went for a 3rd fitting and the dress looked amazing! Whew! I was so scared but it came out really nice! Thank god! It did feel alittle loose and people asked if I lost weight but I really weigh the same as last week! Weird! So they are tightening the inner corset and I pick up tomorrow! YAY!

The timing couldn't be more perfect right?
I'm sure that the dress will look perfect by the time that they are finished working on it. If it's not finished by tomorrow, would it hurt to stop by the shop and check in on the progress?

I live in NJ and work in NYC so its hard to do that. I am also irriated bc I will need to take off work or leave early tomorrow if they do indeed call and say its ready. I am staring at my phone and waiting patiently!

Does it make you feel better to know I had issues with my dress store too yep and they supposedly are very reputable ya right

So sorry you have to deal with this I am sure it will all work out well in the end and you will look amazing but I cannot imagine the worry now. Sending positive vibes your way. And tell the store after the fact how unnacceptable it is !!!

Kimberly I like the way you think...Jenn you should DEF stop in whether or not it is ready to check on it...

These seamstresses are like magicians so everything will be fine,,,,but I can imagine how stressed you are I feel for you!

Personally I'd let them know how dissappointed you are and see if they will remove any money from your alterations. In the end all of it will come together.

All three of us have the same wedding song !

Thats FH's and my song but, we arent using it for our 1st dance.
You should definately see if you can get some, if not all your money back.

I'm so sorry, date twin! I know this is probably the LAST thing you need right now. I'll be sending tons of positive thoughts to both you and the fingers of the seamstresses!!! They'll be able to pull it off, I'm sure.
