Dress / Veil Drama

I'm so upset and angry right now I can't even see straight.

The good news is that my dress fits and the bustle they did is gorgeous.

Bad news is that they friggin insisted that I need a diamond white veil because ivory would be too dark for my dress meanwhile my dress is ivory.

I go for my 1st fitting today and guess what...the friggin veil is way too white for the dress. Meanwhile they're trying to tell me it matches perfectly. Bull, clearly it's the wrong color and now they're saying they don't know fi they can get a new one in on time and want me to pay for another veil...I don't think so.

Top it off with that the last time I was there the person that put the dress away got the tags caught in the zipper and that was a whole dilema in itself. Now they're saying they might have to replace the zipper because I broke it, no you're dumb azzes broke it when you put the dress away.

Ahhhh, they're so nice before they get your money but then aftewards it's nothing but aggravation.

I'm freaking out now that I'm not going to have a veil that matches my dress.

Thanks for letting me vent.

If you don't like the veil, don't wear it. I got mine from Barrons and they did a great job. You can pick whatever color you want. Plus, their prices are great. If they don't give you your $ back for the veil, sell it.

And do not pay for the zipper to be replaced. Stand your ground!

Could you possibly exchange the veil? Or keep it, sell it and get another one? It does sound frustrating; I would be mad too!

That's what I told them, just exchange it for an ivory one. They're making a whole deal over it that they had it made, yadda, yadda, yadda and don't do exchanges. I'm calling there right now to speak to the woman that helped me with my dress but they never seem to let me see her.

I'm waiting for my sister in law to email me the picutes. It's a 2 tier fingertip lenght. Very plain but there is beading on the edges of it. It's from Private Lable by G, I'll see if they have pic on their website.

Take a deep breath...relax a little, then give them Hell! You need to be strong and assertive without being too emotional ( I know its hard, thats where the deep breaths come in) Do not pay for the zipper repair. Especially since you seen what happened last time. They must remember the customer is always right! Keep calling every five minutes(killl them with kindnbess everytime) until they put the right person on the phone! Good luck! I know everything will work out just fine
