I went to order my dress this weekend....So I went to the place where I saw it and where I wanted to order it from. She called me to make the appointment to come and try it on again before I order it. Now it's in the bronx. So I have to pay the toll....Didn't mind. But I get there. and first they couldn't find my pending file. With all the info and the dress # and everything on it. So then after about 20 min they find it. But now they can't find the dress...I am in there like 45 min now. And they tell me they don't have the sample anymore. How am I supposed to try it on if you don't have it??? What a waste of time!!! So she tells me I can order it. But I wanna try it on to make sure I really want it!!! So she tells me to go to another store that carries it and try it on there and then go back there and order it!!!....Why would I do that?? Who know you might sell my dress or lose it!!! I was so pissed!!!
But on a good note.... I went to another bridal store near my house and the girl desgined a dress for me...exactly how I want it. So I have to make my decision if I want to get that one or look for the other one.

You're probably better off going to a bridal salon near your house... I don't know where you live, but are you going to want to head up to the Bronx for fittings? If bridal salons are disorganized when you're trying on the sample dress, I don't know if I'd trust them with ordering your gown.

With that shop being as dis-organized as you mentioned I think it would add stress later on. Glad that you made an alternative decision!

Kenneth pool...But i knew it would take that long..Kenneth pool dresses are all hand-made so it takes time for them to actually do that, thats why i wanted to buy my dress more than a year before my wedding bc i know it can take a year.
Many other dresses are machine made so those will come in alot quicker maybe about 6-8 months or even sooner...Just gotta find out about the designer and how they make their dresses. If its hand-made expect longer.

The moonlight dress they originally told me 6-8 months. And the dress that will be made for me they said 1 year. So if I want it I should order it by the end of this month this way it will be her ein time. And if I make any changes I will have time.
Denise. Your dress is beautiful!!! I think I am going to look at kleinfelds.

yeah if you get it made, definitely go soon...you also want to leave some time in case something needs to be fixed or you want to change something once it comes in.
Thank you so much...you should def go, every weekend they are having a trunk show, see which designer you are interested in and go that weekend
