dress woes

dress woes

I went dress shopping with my om today. We went to Carmela's Bridal Garden (HIGHLY recommended, great service and gorgeous stock). I found a dress I love, but we'd have to special-order it . I want an A-line skirt, this was a ball gown. Oh, and it was DOUBLE what I really wanted to spend on a dress. My mom told me that if I really love it, she'd get it for me...but is it worth it?

Is that you in the pic? If it is you look amazing in that dress. If your mom's paying for it then thats another reason to get the dress.

Wow, good eye! It's an EOM, style e29.

ETA: I love the top, but think the bottom is to pouffy... I'm 4'11 and I feel like a ballgown will swallow me!

I love it. My mom said something similar to me. If you fall in love with something its really hard to get it out of your mind and find something else that is just as good. I would try another salon and see if you can get the price down a bit. Other than that GET IT GIRL

are you nervous about special ordering it? I wouldn't worry at all...when you buy a dress they start it from scratch regardless so it doesn't matter. Yeah i def suggest getting the a-line not the ballgown, i actually used to think the a-line dresses which also are puffy and come out were ballgowns, when she showed me what a real ballgown was i was like no way...It is so hard to move in and so heavy.

If you love it then get it, it is a gorgeous dress, i like it alot...If you feel bad about your mom paying for it, why dont you split the cost with her, this way youll pay what you expected to pay and she'll pay the rest

wow, that is a really beautiful dress! i think it would look beautiful in a line as well! if you look around you can prob find it in another salon for less money! good luck! if it is the one i think you should go for it! esp. if your mom is okay with it.
