Dresses

No not for my bridesmaids but for me! I have a few weddings to go to starting with one this upcoming october. Anyone know a good place to go to get a nice dress that I can wear to more than one wedding?

p.s. - I can get at least two uses out of the dress I'm looking to buy now cause they are two entirely different sets of people. TIA

I found a great cocktail dress at Macy's that I plan to wear to 2 weddings this year - FH and I are the only ones going to both.

I have good luck usually with dresses from Ann Taylor.

here's another question:

Do you think it's appropriate to wear a full length gown? It's an evening wedding at the watermill

if i'ts a very formal affair, yeah i would wear long, otherwise, casual should be fine, less material usually = less $$ :)

I went to a wedding there at night and i wore like a knee length dress but the crowd was mixed - there were some people with gowns, some with dresses, some with dressy skirt suits - I guess it all depends on what you want!

Oh and as for the other question...I have 9 weddings in the next year and a half so I have the same problem!! Try to go to Macy's when they are having a big sale or Nordstrom Rack is good too (they are hit or miss)

Thanks girls! I guess it will come down to what I find for the right price that looks good on me! At least I have an excuse to go shopping now!
