Dresses

Everyone is posting such beautiful dresses. I feel like the more I try on, the more confused I am. I can't decide on a style. I think I have tried on more than 50 dresses. I liked 2 of them, but they are both way out of my price range. I hope that I will be able to narrow the dresses down, but I am having such a hard time.

maybe you can find similar dresses to the ones you liked by a different company. I know devids bridal makes so similar dresses to big designers. I woiuld take a look. I am getting a maggie sottero dress and its pretty good price. $600 . id look around more when you find the one youll know!
good luck hun!

I have been looking at sample sales and shops that carry samples online for the two dresses I want. The pics are in my album. I have considered dressmakers. I also have been looking for dresses that are copies of the ones I want. I just feel that I am so indecisive about everything, that I won't be happy no matter what I choose.

don't worry, you have time. don't be pressured to buy something you're not sure of. i'm sure you'll know when you find 'the one'. and if it is too expensive, look on ebay to see if anyone is selling it for cheaper!

Re: Dresses

yea i would sit back and relax a bit with the whole dress thing pretend that you don't need to narrow it down to a single dress. I am betting myself after 6 appointments next week i might not even find a dress that i like and my wedding is next march. No worries!!! I will worry when its Sept and I haven't found a dress. I think you will be happier when the new designs come out in the summer i bet you will find something just perfect and even if you don't you can really even wait till Jan. to get the next batch of dresses.

I haven't met a person yet who has told me that their dress they loved they couldn't get because it was too close to their wedding date (7 months in advance) so i would hit the panic button of 7 months was approaching

Hey- Well....for some people...you try on a dress and you feel its YOU...I would go to a place where you know its in your price range and try on dresses in your range. You will look beautiful no matter what...

don't worry, I've done A LOT of dress shopping and haven't found 'the one' yet either. I plan on hitting up as many bridal shops as I have to in order to find it.

Everyone will tell you this, but it's so true: when you find your dress, you'll know it.

Try on dresses and ask yourself: Do I like this dress? What do I like about it? Do I like it or LOVE it? As you discover what you like, request dresses with those features. You'll narrow it down pretty quickly that way.

Good luck!

Don't get frustrated...even if you can't decide on the style...when you try on the right dress you'll just know!!!!

Thanks girls. I found so many I love in magazines and online, but they never look quite right on me. I will keep on trying them on.

If you like the top of one dress and the bottom of another, and they're made by the same company, a bridal salon can custom-order it for you. HTH
