I think at some formal shops you can rent them.

Also might want to try Ebay- they usually have some inexpensive wedding gowns.
Or even Craigs list.

there was just a topic on selling wedding dresses. a bunch of people were interested in selling their dress. a lot more than i thought. it should still be around the recent threads. i'll see if i can find it for you.

or try sample sales, sometimes you can find new dresses in a good price.
