Re: dresses...

Are you in NJ? (Im asking bc of your RH location)

If you are in NY I would HIGHLY suggest paradise bridal (and Patty S!) if you have not yet been there.

Re: dresses...

i tried over 100 dresses and was getting super fed up with the process when I finally found the one. No regrets since then. I would say to try on a few more, maybe go to a large salon like Kleinfeld's where you can try a large variety of dresses in one shot. GL!!

aww.. it feels nice to know that some1 cares.. cuz my friends SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Barb i have realized the same thing the girls on this board are the only ones that get excited or concerned about wedding issues. Friends care to a certain extent and then forget about your weddings issues by the next hour.

I tried on 3 dresses!! it was the 3rd one i tried on that i loveddd! Also I gave her a price range I was comfortable spending before I tried on the dresses.. this way I wouldn't try on a $10k dress fall in love and then say oh crap..

I mean you might find yourself going back to that one!! maybe save extra hard if you really really want that one.. and cut the budget someplace else! =) good luck!

oh and the enzoani dress..if i really want to buy it...i HAVE to $ave every penny possible and HAVE to lose at least 8 lbs.....i look ok in it, but not beautiful ...

I haven't started dress shopping yet, I'm starting tomorrow... yay!

Which Enzoani dress is it?? I have my eye on one, it's called Diana (in ivory)... I am dying to try it on, but I too don't like the price tag and know that I have to drops some LB's to fit into it. Just curious if it's the same one?

I plan on trying on a TON of dresses just to be sure I found 'the one'.

Good luck girl!

i only went to two stores. at the first store 'the one' was the third one i tried on. i was hesitant bc i thought i should keep looking. so i went to another store to try on more but i kept going back to that one.

when you know, you know. go with your gut.

Re: dresses...

definitely try on more dresses. every place i went to i found beautiful gowns.
you still have plenty of time so definitely wait with the purchase, and if months later u still love the enzoani dress then you might get a better deal since newer dresses/season will be out.

Re: dresses...

I tried on 4 dresses only.
My advice..try on what you think you'd never want.

My first dress was the cut I always dreamed of and looked HORRIBLE in me.
I didn't want strapless and FSIL made me. It also was cathedral...a big no for me...it has so many details..a big no for me...

Best thing...it looked great!

I tried on close to 20 dresses. Was the Enzoani dress called Diana? Cuz I tried that on at RK Bridal and considered buying it.

I just noticed your post. I don't know if this helps but I believe Diana was about $2400 at RK Bridal. It's very pretty but if you are concerned about the price, I feel like RK Bridal had lots of similar dresses by other designers for a lot less $$. You may want to check them out.

I tried on about 30-40 dresses. Don't stop until you're completely sure. I went to Lillette's twice, Bridal Salon of Manhasset (I was there for three hours) and David's Bridal.
