Re: Dresses

I really appreciate it girls!thanks girls! I think I am leaning more towards the Enzoani one (the pic i posted) I think it is more 'me'

they are both in the same place, so I can try them both on back to back, which is what I did last night. that's what gave the the confusion. lol
I am going to wait a few days and go back and bring someone else besides my mom. I feel bad though b/c i keep bringing one of my bridesmaids everywhere. lol I have to start bringing someone else in the BP. lol
I think the MAry's may have too much going on in it. and i knwo i wanted a long train, but i think it is a little too long! lol

thanks for the advice though!

I really appreciate it girls!

Re: Dresses

I love them both and they both have really great qualities but you've said it twice that you think the Enzoni one is more 'you' so just that a lone i think you should go w/ that one.

But like you and a lot of the other brides said - wait a little while, bring more people and try them on again and see how you feel.

It's overwhelming and you do have time so you give yourself that mental and emotional break!

Re: Dresses

here is my honest opinion.

The first dress left me speechless. it has so much work on it everywhere! and the train - i didn't know where to look first! it was a little overwhelming. - but still very beautiful.

the second dress, i feel is still just as stunning, but much mor simplistic - in the sense that it doesn't have beadwork almost everywhere you look. just the two patches in the front. It looks very modern ans simple. But you know what they say, sometimes less is more. Is there more beading or any other decoration in the back of the dress?

I think you have narrowed it down to two dresses. you should stick with these because every time you go out shopping and try on more dresses you run the risk of falling in love with another dress and being torn all over again.

the two dresses you chose are like night and day. so its really up to you on which dress you choose, but I think i would go with dress number 2

dres2 has detailing on the back - just at the butt where the train comes out. its teh same beadwork ad the front. jsut a little patch.
they areally are like night and day though.
Thanks for your honestly! I really do appreciate it!

and allornil - I am leaning towwards this dress too. next week I will make an appt and go to try them both on again.

Re: Dresses

I had the same problem. I found THE dress but was convinced by FMIL to try on a different dress. The second one was stunning on and much simpler and half the price. But in the end- I went with the first dress, my first love. The question I asked myself was- 'in 10 years when you look at your wedding album, what dress do I want to see myself in'.

HTH

and I stopped trying on dresses! It was my favorite part of planning, but it was getting too confusing.

Re: Dresses

wow, that's got to be hard to be in love with 2 dresses. i would definitely follow the girls' advice and sit on it for a little while. then go back and try both on again.

personally, i hope you go with the enzo- it's amazing!!

Re: Dresses

Both of those dresses are beautiful but the second one is so different! I love it! When I went to try on dresses I thought I was set on the one I wanted but I ended up with something totally different! I would go with the second one..there's a reason you can't forget it! But that's just my opinion
