Dresses in Manhattan..

Anyone know of any good places to go to try bridal dresses in manhattan? I know there is a bunch but I heard alot of places can be overwhelming...any experiences? Thanks!

RK Bridal has tons of dresses to try on.
www.rkbridal.com has a list of the designers they carry.

I used Saks Fifth AVenue - they have been AMAZING.

Depends on your budget...

Almost all of the major designers have shops in NYC including Vera, Reem Acra, Jim Hjlem and a bunch of others.

Bride2Choose (now called Bridal Suite or something like that) has a quite a few beautiful gowns.

There are dresses in every price range but if you want to stay under $1K skip all the shops I mentioned as well as Saks.

RK Bridal and the bridal building are your best bets.

Try the Bridal Suite of NYC located at 262 W 38th Street. It's a small place so you need an appt. They have everything from shoes to handbags. I ordered my dress from there and it was a very pleasant experience. Their website is http://www.bridalsuitenyc.com

try this magazine called 'new york weddings' or 'weddings new york'....it has every bridal store in manhattan you can imagine...even a place on 28th i think between lex and 3rd where you can get a vera wang (or any other deisgner) dress thats been worn once for a fraction of the price....i regret i found this magazine after i already ordered my dress...
