Dresses under $1,000?

How many of you girls were able to find a beautiful dress for under $1,000? If you were, could you please post a picture of yourself in it? :) Also, if you wouldn't mind telling me where you were able to find it, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!!

You can also try the Commack Wedding Center their prices are extremely reasonable.

I noticed that the other day... My sister wanted me to get the invitations that you are getting... I dont know yet... I am really torn....

I have tried on dresses under $1,000 at Lillettes in Baldwin, Village Bridal in Babylon, Helens and the Wedding Center in Commack and Paradise in Patchogue.

Maggie Sottero, Mori Lee, Impressions and a couple of other ones I can't remember.

I am selling a certificate for David's Bridal It has to be used within a month from now. I'm trying to get 75% the cost of a dress, so you can get a $1000 gown for $750.

Btw, there is one dress I fell in love with in a magazine. It's by Demetrios Blue, but all the Macy's/Demetrios locations I called said that they don't have it. The Macy's in Manhattan said that in the computer, only two are listed, and they are in Detroit and Indianapolis... anyone ever have a problem like this before? If I want to try it on, they'll need me to pay them $50 to have it shipped to them. Maybe because it's new? Oddly, the people I had on the phone didn't seem to think it was a new style, but I figured it must be...it's advertised in the Demetrios Blue Magazine for Fall/Winter.

Any tips on how to find this gown?

mine was under 1k. I got it from Bridal Elegance, They had many under 1k there!!! pics in album

this might not be an option for you but peridress.com sells replicas of designer dresses for like $200 or less. supposedly they are good dresses. i hear more good reviews then bad. for only $200 it might be worth the chance.

I just started my shopping today. I went to Village Bridal Boutique in Babylon on JOhn STreet. I tried on about 20 dresses....and it just so happens that my favorite 2 were under $1000. They have all price ranges there. I absolutely loved the service. I definitely recommend going!!! If you want more info FM me

I defiantly think you can find a gorgeous dress under $1,000 . That was my price range until I found my dream dress that was out of my price range. I found a lots of beautiful dresses for under a 1,000. The bridal shop in Baldwin has a lot of dress in that price range.

I worked with a tailor on Ebay who made a replica of this gorgeous dress by Eve of Milady. Same exact detail except the embroidery (front of dress) was a bit off. I havent gone yet myself- but a friend of mine just ordered her dress from My Daughters Wedding III in great neck. She says all the dresses there were way cheaper then anywhere else she went looking.

Try Wedding Plaza in Floral Park. Nassau County. They have a wide variety and selection and prices that fall under what you are looking for.

My dress was $985 and comes with a purse and a shawl. It was a PC Mary's. They have cheaper dresses but they look expensive. I was shocked by the price. I dont really like any of the pics of me in the dress but this is the dress... http://www.marysbridal.com/bridal/5712.htm
