Re: dresses with off the shoulder sleeves
depends on the dress. The sleeves aren't there to help you keep the dress up, so that's an important thing to remember. I've worn some that are comfortable some that aren't. Hope that helps!

Re: dresses with off the shoulder sleeves
This was my dress & if they are done right I think they can be fine. I knew I wanted mine to be able to come off & that is where the trouble started. I had velcro put in & they kept popping off all day, so I then used a pin & almost got stabbled. Finally during the reception I took the sleeves off.
But it does give the dress an entirely different look.
If so, FM SweetCin704 - this is her (and her wedding dress)

I totally agree - that it depends on the type of sleeve - a cap sleeve like SweetCin had is different than what I had - a cap sleeve will not give you the problems that I had because they are more on the shoulder and less on the arm. Sr081906 had ones where there was soem elastic hidden on the inside and she also had no problems. (BTW, sweetcin, you looked SO GOOD - I LOVE it without the cap sleeves!!)
This was Sophies dress (where there was elastic hidden on the inside) I don't think she had the problem I did with 'immobility'

I know what you're talking about. It's the cap sleeves. I LOVE that look, but be careful because some of them are a little uncomfortable.

Mine comes with Cap sleeves, but I am having them removed when my dress comes in.
