That is probably why you got pregnant. You were so relaxed and NOT even thinking of TTC. Maybe I should have a drink next month before ovulation.

I also got BLASTED twice before I got pregnant. We weren't TTC, but not stopping it either. Hey, if getting drunk worked for those high school knocked up, it should work for those TTC!

I had 3 drinks at my xmas party and took a test the next day which was BFP. My daughter is fine-lol!

i always struggle with this one....i LOVE wine and when i first started ttc, i was like - NO WAY, i won't drink during the 2ww....

then one month passed, then another, then another.....and i started thinking - this could take years....

and if it DOES take years, i think i deserve to have a glass of wine when i want....regardless.

yet, i still struggle with the thought....good thread, i am interested in what everyone else thinks about this one!

AF showed and is coming on strong for me ...While Im sipping my Vodka and orange! LOL

no need to feel guilty....I've heard whatever you drink BEFORE you get a BFP doesn't count!

I haerd that too. My friend was BLASTED twice two days before she got a BFP and her baby is fine

I drink the week of AF, but other than that I'm trying to stay away.

I do agree though, after 4 months I'm like, no baby and no wine?? Something has to give!!

I usually still make it a point in social gatherings to at least have a glass of wine in my hand, even if I don't drink much. It staves off those nosy questions.

I hear you about the nosey questions! Last night I was at my friend's house and they didn't believe me that I wasnt PG until I had a beer...I ended up having 3 beers. I felt so guilty because Im in the 2ww...but I have to unwind sometimes.
