When they tell you to drink a lot of water while preggo, does it matter if you drink most of it all at once or throughout the day?? I try to get most of it down in the morning so it is all out of me by the time I have to make the train home... Is this no good?

IMO you should drink it all day long - what else are you drinking during the day? I buy the huge cases of poland spring 24oz bottles @ BJ's and drink them throughout the day - 1 bottle = 3 glasses. You need to hydrate yourself throughout the day...

They say you should drink water all the time not just during pregnancy, I am pregnant too, and I drink it all day long it helps keep me hydrated and I don't get heartburn. I guess it doesn't matter what time of day you drink it. Just as long as your getting the right amount of fluids, so you don't get dehydrated.

Yeah but I am afraid I am gushing myself all at once with like 80 oz of water, then nothing else the rest of the day...

Then try to spread it out through out the day and don't drink as much for the last hour before your train ride home, hopefully that will make it easier on you. Did you ask your Doctor?

No, but I should.
I was doing that, stopping 1 hour before, then I was peeing in the street (not in the street, but I would have to stop at a McD's on my way to the train), peeing when I get to Penn, peeing when I got on the train, peeing before it got to my stop and peeing as soon as I walk in the door. I think it HAS to be MENTAL!!!

Re: Drinking Water while preggo??
I was never a big water drinker before pregnancy. But, from the middle to the end of my pregnancy I was sooooooo thirsty I couldn't get enough of it!
I'd recommend drinking water throughout the day to help keep yourself hydrated. Keeping hydrated is important, especially during the warmer weather. Dehydration can lead to early/false labor (according to my doctor).

31 weeks. That is why they made such a point of it last night at my visit. Early labor or false labor, that scared me enough into drinking it! :)
